Ratification Vote results

Dear CUPE 386 Members,

Voting closed at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, regarding the ratification of the Memorandum of Agreement between the City of Coquitlam and CUPE 386.

We have received the official results of the vote. The Memorandum of Agreement has been ratified by the members. Of the members who cast a ballot, 76.9% voted in favour of ratification.

Additional information regarding the next steps in this process will be provided by email on Monday.

Thank you to all members who participated in the ratification vote. Voter turnout was exceptionally high, and we appreciate the strong participation of our membership.

Reminder re Ratification Agreement vote

Dear Members,

If you have registered to vote in the Collective Agreement ratification, you should now have received your electronic ballot and voting link. Please note that voting closes at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24.

If you have registered but have not received your voting link, please contact cupe386@shaw.ca as soon as possible.

If you have not yet registered to vote, please email cupe386elections@shaw.ca. Registration closes at 4:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24. No registrations will be accepted after this deadline.

Please note that the Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) is available for your review within your electronic ballot before you cast your vote.

Results

The results of the ratification vote will be posted on the CUPE 386 website on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at 9:00 a.m.
